Co-hosted by Tightrope Books publisher Jim Nason and author Farzana Doctor and featuring readings related to human rights issues by ten acclaimed poets from some of Canada’s top independent publishers: Sheniz Janmohamed, Maureen Hynes, Soraya Peerbaye, Vivek Shraya, Moez Surani, Nyla Matuk, Sonnet L’Abbé, Gwen Benaway, Michael Fraser, and Ann Shin.
Amnesty International will be at the event with information about human rights issues.
