Former U.S. Poet Laureate and Pulitzer Prize–winner Charles Simic is the author of many collections, including “Master of Disguises” (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2010). He is a Distinguished Poet-in-Residence in the NYU Creative Writing Program. Simic will be introduced by program director Deborah Landau.

Title: Charles Simic reads at Stella Adler Studio of Acting

Description: Charles Simic, one of America’s preeminent poets, will give a reading of his poems at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting on Tuesday, October 23 at 7PM. The reading by Simic, who won the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 1990 and was named the United States Poet Laureate in 2007, will be appearing as part of the studio’s Harold Clurman Poetry Reading Series.

Poet Deborah Landau, Clinical Professor and Director of the Creative Writing Program at New York University, will introduce Charles Simic and read some of her works as well.
