My publisher is Xlibris…
Is this publisher accepted to send to you my poems…
Xlibris is a self-publishing service. As we note in the summary to the Griffin Poetry Prize rules (How to Enter – http://staging.griffinpoetryprize.com/how-to-enter/ ): “No self-published book is eligible. This requirement is consistent with major literary prizes around the world.” On the How to Enter page, we also provide links to information about publishing companies around the world.
Thank you very much for your question.
Can you give the names of any publishers that are not considered “self publish”? Or how would I find out?
Elizabeth, you have left your comment on a page that leads to a treasure trove of information about poetry publishers around the world. Click on the link at the top of this page (http://staging.griffinpoetryprize.com/read.php) and it will take you to a database of publishers who have submitted entries to the Griffin Poetry Prize since its inception. You can browse through the entire database, where you will see links to the web sites of various publishers, such as Copper Canyon Press (https://www.coppercanyonpress.org/index.asp), Bloodaxe Books (http://www.bloodaxebooks.com/), Frontenac House (http://www.frontenachouse.com/) and so on, and so on. You can also search on specific criteria, such as country. If, for example, you searched on Ireland, you would get results for such publishers as Salmon Poetry (http://www.salmonpoetry.com/), Seven Towers (http://www.seventowers.ie/cms/), The Gallery Press (http://www.gallerypress.com/) and more.
We hope you’ll find this database to be a useful starting point for finding out more about poetry publishers around the world.

We note that we have yet to receive entries for the Griffin Poetry Prize from Finland, but we hope that will change in future. We did a quick online search and found these sites:

… but we aren’t experts on publishing companies in Finland so perhaps you can pursue this further yourself. Best wishes!

Hello,
I see there are a lot of publishers mentioned here, I would love to get a Shortlist of approved “Indian” publishers so I could get in contact with them.
Ragards.
We don’t have “approved” shortlists of publishers, but we can suggest the following:
1. From the Submitting Publishers database, try searching with “India” in the Country field, and you’ll see publishers from India who have submitted to the Griffin Poetry Prize in past years.
2. If you google “poetry publishers in India”, you’ll find some interesting results. We’re not sure how current this is, but this list might be useful to you: http://www.indianpoetry.org/poetrypublisher.htm
Hope this helps!

I am David Vincent, Nigeria citizen by birth, pls how can someone submit his or her manuscript? I have about 80 topics write-up concerned unity, love and peace to the society.
David, the Griffin Poetry Prize is not a publishing company. The Griffin Poetry Prize only accepts published works, not manuscripts. However, from the web page on which you have left your question, you can search our database of publishers who have submitted works to the Griffin Poetry Prize since 2001. You can even search by country, and you will find many publishers from Nigeria who have submitted entries. We hope that helps you to find assistance with your manuscript.
Hey there! Which publishers in Pakistan are eligible to submit entries?
Publishers anywhere in the world can submit as long as their submissions meet the Griffin Poetry Prize eligibility criteria. Check the rules for all the details.
