Canadian Lines – An Evening of Poetry

The Crescent welcomes Canadian poets Catherine Graham and Kathleen McCracken and former Canadian resident Julie Morrissy for an evening of poetry.

All three poets are writers whose works bring a range of distinctive perspectives to “the Canadian experience”. Rich and daring in their approaches to poetic form, deeply engaged with concerns ranging from gender politics to environmental depredation, from the mapping of private and public landscapes to cultural hybridity, these are poetries that are at once decidedly Canadian and refreshingly transcultural.
