Join award-winning novelist, poet and scholar Ben Lerner for a lecture on the unstable relationship between text and image as part of the Canadian Art Encounters series. The author of 10:04 and The Hatred of Poetry will imagine how a contemporary writer might both engage with and move beyond the traditional notion of ekphrasis as dramatizing a rivalry between verbal and visual art.
