Description: Wikipedia states that a Poetry Slam is “a competition in which poets read or recite original work” and that Originality is “the aspect of created or invented works [that is] new or novel.” Well, join Poetry as F*ck for a new, novel, and original way of doing a Poetry Slam[citation needed]. It’s… The Wikipedia Slam. Poets will compete in two rounds.

Round 1: The Definite Article. Our poets will read or recite their favourite Wikipedia entry. They will wow you, and the judges, with their grace and skill and knowledge.

Round 2: [citation needed]. Wikipedia is renowned as an unimpeachable source of accurate information. In this round we ask the question: Have our poets got their facts straight? Well? Have they? We’ll be the judge of that.
