Poems for the NHS London launch

This is the London launch of Poems for the NHS, an anthology including established poets (such as multiple award winners Mimi Khalvati, Penelope Shuttle and Carol Satymurti), up-and-coming poets and new voices, all marking 70 years of the NHS. The reading will include poems about receiving life-saving treatment, about the people who deliver that treatment with empathy and resilience, about friends and family and their intimate journeys and about the impact of both ill-health and the effect of the interventions aimed at curing it.
